1.    To proposed a contextualized sustainable development, education curriculum that applies the learning skills to helping learn how to address real life environmental problems in their communities.

The engagement of students in working with local communities in Bangshi River pollution cleanup activities. And To train and equipped students as future green leaders in their community.

.    To restore environmental sustainability/cleanup of the river Bangshi and  improve quality of lives and livelihood opportunity of the traditional occupational groups in the Banghsi riverside area. 

 Expected Results:

 A project based learning curriculum in the country is developed and ready to use for another project base learning activity    

1. A total of 14 schools and 28 teachers were trained and developed skill in implementing project based learning curriculum

2. Fourteen teachers one from each 14 schools were trained to use and facilitate internet and use of social media to address local environmental problems and clean of the Bangshi river pollution

3. A hundred and twelve girls student and equal hundred and twelve boy student (total of 224) were actively trained in the use of the internet and social media to address local environmental problems and to cleanup of the river Bangshi 

4. Fourteen green clubs (one in each school) were formed and functions well       

5. Approximately 25km of the Bangshi River (from Dholi bill point to Bhakurpur point) is clean and fish and other species were revived in the river Bangshi  

6. Laptop and internet modem used in the project activities become life long assets of the green clubs of each school and use for environmental cleanup activities after the end of the project

7.Finally 20,275 students at 14 schools and other stakeholders in the project area were getting clean environment and

8. The lives of a woman member of traditional fishing flocks become easier who accustom to using of river water for their cooking, bathing and other domestic use.
